Zoom AI Receptionist Pricing: Virtual Agent and Zoom Phone Costs
Zoom AI receptionist pricing explained: $29.99 for 100 minutes on any phone system, or $0.25 a minute on top of Zoom Phone. See which route fits your call volume.
Smith.ai sells two different things under one name. One is an AI receptionist. The other is a team of human receptionists. Both are billed per call, and the gap between them is large, so the first job is working out which one you are being quoted for.
The numbers below come from Smith.ai’s own pricing pages, checked in October 2026.
The AI plans are month to month. You buy a bucket of calls and pay a set rate for each call over it.
| Plan | Monthly price | Calls included | Each extra call |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 25 | $3.00 |
| Pro | $150 | 75 | $2.50 |
| Pro | $270 | 150 | $2.30 |
| Pro | $500 | 300 | $2.17 |
| Enterprise | $800 | 500 | $2.10 |
Above 1,000 calls the price is custom. If you want a live person to pick up when the AI cannot handle a call, that is an add-on at $3.00 per call, charged only when it is used. Source: Smith.ai AI Receptionist pricing.
One detail matters more than the price. On Free and Pro you set the receptionist up yourself, with support. Smith.ai only builds and runs it for you on Enterprise.
| Plan | Monthly price | Calls included | Each extra call |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $300 | 30 | $11.50 |
| Basic | $810 | 90 | $10.50 |
| Pro | $2,100 | 300 | $8.50 |
There are no setup fees, and the plans are month to month. Several common tasks are charged per call on top: appointment booking is $1.50, a text or email follow-up is $0.50, a Spanish line is $1.00, and recording with transcription is $0.25. Source: Smith.ai receptionist pricing.
Take a business that gets 200 calls a month, which is about nine a working day.
The pattern to notice: with per-call pricing, a busy month costs more than a quiet one. That is fine if your volume is steady. It is harder to budget for if you run promotions, have a seasonal rush, or get a lot of short calls that still count as calls.
Three things are worth checking before you sign with any per-call service:
HiBell is not a per-call plan you configure yourself. It is a managed service: our team builds the agent with you, connects it to your calendar and systems, watches real conversations and keeps improving it. It covers calls, web chat, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and SMS.
You start with a free 30-day managed pilot, and usage and any phone or third-party costs are confirmed with you before launch. For a side by side view, see our Smith.ai alternative page, or read what an AI receptionist costs across the market.
The Smith.ai AI Receptionist runs from $0 for 25 calls to $800 for 500 calls a month. The human receptionist plans are $300 for 30 calls, $810 for 90 calls and $2,100 for 300 calls.
Per call. Each plan includes a set number of calls, and every call above that is billed at the plan overage rate, from $2.10 to $3.00 on the AI plans and $8.50 to $11.50 on the human plans.
Smith.ai lists no setup fees on its human receptionist plans and none on its AI Receptionist pricing page.
